So... how was Christmas?

Post by bio » Wed Dec 27, 2006 1:40 pm

Christmas at Casa de Bio was good!

We had a nice holiday dinner (the turkey and stuffing were to die for!) and the kids were genuinely pleased with their haul.

My sister and brother-in-law came over and we drank hot buttered rum and played some 80's music trivia game (it has a DVD for "name that song" or "name that band" questions). That was all kinds of fun (most of the videos aren't ones that you'd remember... and many of the bands were forgettable one hit wonders).

My wife and I are really enjoying the JVC TH-C60 surround sound system we got for each other! We watched Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Mans Chest last night and the sound was incredible! It totally changes the whole DVD experience.

How did you do?

Here's a picture of me and the wife at Christmas time at an undisclosed location south of the border.

We went over to the inlaws, I got some different types of honeys and a beer-making kit as well as a couple books about beer. The kid made out like a bandit as usual. All in all it was much fun, we stayed up way too late playing Tiger Woods on the xbox though.

Uh, Tone, now that you're in the 21st century, you'll want to revisit this link. The good news is that you can pick up most of them up used off of Amazon and Half for huge discounts. Which barring MFTM is how I purchased them.

Oh and while we're on the subject, my girlfriend bought me a huge purple phallus that glows in the dark.

It was a good christmas, the little one made out like a bandit. FYI, he's got enough damned toys already!

Santa brought me one of these, I must have been a VERY good boy!

The BIG present comes on January 12th, shipping was a little out of our control, but it looks like it's a girl :)

It was a very good Christmas this year. I was excited. I had Christmas off. Got to see family which was the best part. My grandpa came home from the hospital in time for him to have Christmas. And I got an Mp3 player, that is dead but that will all be fixed soon.

Could thus said location possibly be Zihuatanejo?

I only ask because that's the name of the jpg :-)

Yeah, I didn't try very hard to hide it. I have more pictures of the trip if you want to see them.

So long as they don't show you, on the beach, in a speedo.

<shudder>

Yeah... I'm gonna wake up in the middle of the night screaming just for thinking about that.

Well we survived the Walla Walla experience. I think both my wife and I are in agreement that next year is either at home or somewhere tropical. Thankfully it's all over. Maybe next year will be a good Christmas. :)

P.S. BTW bio, when we gonna exchange goods? I'm thinking Saturday afternoon. Let me know what you think.
