I'm heading out to do some car shopping at lunch.
My wife and I made a deal with our eldest that if he graduates with honors, we'd buy him a car. Unfortunately, the little bastard is doing it.
I found a
2002 Mazda Protege that looks like it might be perfect for him, I just need to check it out first.
While I'm there... I'm gonna check out
this bad boy for myself

I suggest getting that bad boy for yourself and give your son whatever you're driving. The crapier the better. Everyone should have a POS for their first car, that way they can appreciate the cars they get in the future. Or at least that's what I was told.

Save the nice car for college graduation and consecutive semesters on the deans list.

My sons will be graduating from college, so to speak. He's in running start, and has been attending SCC for the past year. He graduates with his AA in the spring.
The deal was that if he makes the deans list... he gets a car. He's currently on the deans list.
Sadly though... the car I wanted to look at for him was gone. So was the one I wanted to fill my OMG I'M 40 mid-life crisis with.
*sigh*
I will have a Z-4... yes I will.
