Part-time Temp Worker Receives $100,000 to Stay Home and Watch THE DUKES OF HAZZARD Weeknights on CMT

http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/050604/clsa001.html?.v=5

Nelson was chosen from more than 1,900 candidates throughout the country who applied for the ultimate fantasy job: being paid $100,000 for one year to stay home and watch THE DUKES OF HAZZARD on CMT and maybe take The General Lee for a spin now and then.

Making his way the only way he knew how, Nelson moved to New York City in 2004 in search of success. Instead, he has been working sporadically as an administrative assistant.

"Being paid $100,000 to stay home and watch my favorite show is a dream come true," Nelson said.

That doesn't seem like much money for a year's woth of pain.

Seriously... watch the Dukes of Hazzard for a year? I think I'd rather put two deck screws through my testicles into the floor and then stand up.

Twice.

Do you really think that what we do all year is any less painful? :D

At least in the real workforce we are faced with challenges.

What challenge does this Nelson have... Oh no, I sure hope them Duke Boy's can figure out how to get out of this one. Whew! That was a close one.

Not that I know for sure, but I didn't read that this dude was tied to a chair and could do NOTHING else... I read into it that this was his JOB!

Bet he works out some Quantum physics issues after *work*!

If a General Lee is traveling Northbound at 78 MPH and hits a dirt mound that is angled at a 23 degrees South of a 3 Meter wide Creek, how far would it have to travel to fly past Boss Hogg's convertible Cadillac?

Bonus Question -- How many gallons of fuel will it take Cooter's tow truck to get the General Lee from the Northbank of the Creek to his garage so he can fix it with the torch by closing?
