It stopped.

It was flurrying pretty good around the Spokane International Airport. Enough to delay flights!!! j/k *lol* (But seriously...it would have been enough to close the city of Seattle down!)

Yeah we had flurries too - only ironpants would have braved the traffic if the seattle area had gotten snow - 'cuz he ain't 'fraid of no snow!

...my dad would have left the house as well.

To be fair...Seattle streets were not laid (go ahead guys) to handle extreme weather conditions. And, I have seen some of the streets in downtown Seattle...not sure how brave I would be if I had to traverse those hills in snowy conditions.

And speaking of driving in the snow...

The ever lovely and tallented Mrs. Bio has decided that it's time to trade in the '99 Durango in favor of this: 2005 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

We've got some cash saved up, I'm selling some stock, and we're getting back just over $2k from the IRS. That'll give me the Durango for a trade and up to $6k down. Hopefully that'll be enough.

Hope it goes well.

Uhhmmm, Toyota doesn't offer a "hemi."

Then the question is WHY? Almost all engines now have hemispherical combustion chambers and they are way more efficient in terms of combustion than the old elephant motor. The new hemi is just marketing hype. Sure it has power, but most any engine on the market can be tuned to the power levels that Dodge has done to the hemi...I mean the suburu four banger has 260 hp now...if any of the automakers can't get 345 horse power out of 5.7 liters, they shouldn't be in the business of making cars.

Now, of course, the 426 hemi was a motor to desire in its day...still is in many respects.

You'll notice that the Toy is a hybrid...a 260 hp hybrid...that is estimated to get 30 mpg. Can the Hemi do that?
