I went, they cut, I came home.
The surgery went well, I no longer have pain in my leg (of course, I also lost all feeling in my left foot and lower leg... but that's another story). I am able to walk, and they say that sensation "should" come back eventually (though if I have to choose between a numb leg and intense pain... I'll go with the numb).
One nice thing is the incision is only about an inch and a half long, so it should heal quickly.

Nah... no tattoo. While that would be cool, tattoo's are kinda permanent, and I've not found anything that I want to stick on my ass yet that I would want to have forever.
The incision is only about 2 inches high, and I hadn't actually seen it until my wife took a picture for posting this morning. Fear my pasty white ass!

Sexy!
