Re: My by-monthly (at best) post
As of this moment, the war is on day 163 with no sign of stopping any time soon. The American public, however, seems to have lost interest for the most part (as we do... there's monkey pox to fret about now!).

Re: Elden Ring?
I haven't played it, but may at some point. Currently, I'm buried in Destiny 2.
Also, thank you for reminding me that I still own this board. Also, I updated the word censor. The first person who finds an updated word wins my undying adulation (no peeking at the list, admins!)

My by-monthly (at best) post
yup... I remembered once again that this place is still here, and then I felt guilty that I don't use it like I'm supposed to. I've been too busy watching WWIII slowly ramp up while simultaneously our economy prepares to implode. Nothing props up an economy like a good war though... especially when ...

A new stamp
Not getting into how messed up the current conflict in Ukraine is, but I'm so impressed with the Ukrainian people for the most part. They are tough as nails and are willing to stick it to those who are illegally invading their sovereign nation. They're also salty AF! Ukraine has revealed a new stamp...

Re: Visited an old friend
I'm sorry to hear that. My condolences to you and your family.
I plant to die quietly in my sleep, on the freeway, while I'm driving at over 100mph (not like those whiny passengers in the back seat).

Re: Visited an old friend
Glad to hear that things went well for you! Of course, there's a new variant now, as virulent as Omicron but with way worse symptoms. Yay. New strains are going to keep popping up as long as there's a population for the virus to easily infect and mutate in. Sadly, there's no cure for stupid or selfi...

Re: The Spokane Shock... RIP again?
The Shock has been kicked out of the IFL (indoor football league), and the NAL (national arena league) rejected their application.
They have no place to play and no teams to play against. They're done.

The Spokane Shock... RIP again?
Apparently, the Spokane Shock are in serious financial troubles. With the 2022 season beginning next month, the Shock have yet to pay their security bond for use of the arena (due in December of last year), and it appears that they've also been served an eviction notice from their cooperate offices ...

Chrome OS... on your PC
Google is looking to bring it's Chrome OS to a pc near you.... and you can try it today. Actually, you can try before you commit by using a bootable thumb drive with an image of the OS. It's exactly like Chrome OS, just running on your old hardware (and it will apparently run really well on older ma...

Everyone in my home has friggin' COVID at the moment.... ugh! Thankfully, it's been fairly mild this time (no kicking me in the teeth like last time). And yes, before you ask, I'm triple vaccinated. Vaccinated doesn't equal bulletproof, but I'm convinced that it made things far less severe this time.

Re: A moment of silence for my cell phone, please
So...Did it make it? Yup... and it's exactly like the one I broke. Of course, the day after it arrived, leaks about the Samsung S22 Ultra 5G appeared all over the web, and it looks like it may be available next month for the same price I paid for the S21 (because, of course it will be... ugh!). The...

The Matrix: Resurrections
Let me preface this how excited i eas to hear they were making another movie in the franchise. I was even more excited knowing I could watch it at home, far away from the uneashed and infected masses. But after watching it, a I can think was "That's 2 hours and 25 minutes of my life that I will...

How's your personal war on Christmas™ going?
Since this board is populated mostly by a bunch of liberal snowflakes (and we embrace that title with honor!), I was wondering what everyone is doing to help destroy Christmas™. Are you acknowledging that not everyone is Christian® by not saying "Merry Christmas™" to random strangers? Are ...

Re: A moment of silence for my cell phone, please
Gonna dust off this topic because there's progress on Operation Cell Phone. Samsung kept pushing the data back on when I would get the new phone, from Nov 14, to Nov30, and to December 4th. Then I got an email last week saying it has been delayed another 30 days and isn't expected until early next y...
