My suggestion is to catch and freeze to kill. After a day or so (just to be sure) thaw it out and use a couple of toothpicks to spread the legs apart (which will have clenched up when the beastie died). They also had a stabbing at the Sullivan Scoreboard Taveren, and the SWAT team was out all night trying to locate a murder suspect. The stabbing happened a few blocks from our house.
