dusty and stuffs

Is anyone actually checking this anymore? I know I've been really, REALLY bad at checking in.

Is it still worth keeping, even if just for historical purposes?

That's always been debasing. Way back in the long, long ago (when I was first starting out), minimum wage was $1.75 an hour.

Re: Shopping and heroin

...it's not like the cop in the parking lot was going to be able to contribute anything useful to the woman who was doing it, nor for the society that produced her. And that was kind of my thought at the time. I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to illicit substances, as I've dabbled with very few and...

Shopping and heroin

Today i saw something ive never seen before: a man shooting up what i assume was heroin... on the sidewalk and in plain view. We stopped at the Safeway (just a few blocks from Gonzaga University) to pick up a few items for my mother-in-law who lives in a retirement community near by. The man in ques...

I say we toss him in Eptsein's old cell and give him a few extra sheets.

Ex-President or future inmate?

So... what's your take on the current set of shenanigans that the 🍊💩🤡 has gotten himself into? Is an ex-President subject to the same laws as the plebs, should he get the same punishment as you or I would in the same circumstance? The FBI is currently, dusting all of the documents recovered for prin...

Re: My by-monthly (at best) post

As of this moment, the war is on day 163 with no sign of stopping any time soon. The American public, however, seems to have lost interest for the most part (as we do... there's monkey pox to fret about now!).

Re: Elden Ring?

I haven't played it, but may at some point. Currently, I'm buried in Destiny 2.

Also, thank you for reminding me that I still own this board. Also, I updated the word censor. The first person who finds an updated word wins my undying adulation (no peeking at the list, admins!) :D

My by-monthly (at best) post

yup... I remembered once again that this place is still here, and then I felt guilty that I don't use it like I'm supposed to. I've been too busy watching WWIII slowly ramp up while simultaneously our economy prepares to implode. Nothing props up an economy like a good war though... especially when ...

A new stamp

Not getting into how messed up the current conflict in Ukraine is, but I'm so impressed with the Ukrainian people for the most part. They are tough as nails and are willing to stick it to those who are illegally invading their sovereign nation. They're also salty AF! Ukraine has revealed a new stamp...

Re: Visited an old friend

I'm sorry to hear that. My condolences to you and your family.

I plant to die quietly in my sleep, on the freeway, while I'm driving at over 100mph (not like those whiny passengers in the back seat).

Re: Visited an old friend

Glad to hear that things went well for you! Of course, there's a new variant now, as virulent as Omicron but with way worse symptoms. Yay. New strains are going to keep popping up as long as there's a population for the virus to easily infect and mutate in. Sadly, there's no cure for stupid or selfi...

Re: The Spokane Shock... RIP again?

The Shock has been kicked out of the IFL (indoor football league), and the NAL (national arena league) rejected their application.

They have no place to play and no teams to play against. They're done.

The Spokane Shock... RIP again?

Apparently, the Spokane Shock are in serious financial troubles. With the 2022 season beginning next month, the Shock have yet to pay their security bond for use of the arena (due in December of last year), and it appears that they've also been served an eviction notice from their cooperate offices ...

Chrome OS... on your PC

Google is looking to bring it's Chrome OS to a pc near you.... and you can try it today. Actually, you can try before you commit by using a bootable thumb drive with an image of the OS. It's exactly like Chrome OS, just running on your old hardware (and it will apparently run really well on older ma...
