Server Migration - mostly complete

Post by bio » Sat Nov 13, 2004 6:56 pm

We're currently running on Woody.

There's broken stuffs... no pop3 access, spam assasin, and a few other small things (like address books and preferences for webmail are all gone... sorry 'bout that).

We'll continue to work on this (we might yet get the missing items back) and we will get the spam software installed and running.

Also, if you log into webmail, you'll need to put in your whole email address to log in (not just the username).

If anyone finds anything else... let me know.

HUGE MONSTER THANKS to jester for being so damn cool!

More broken stuff!

Email only has partial functionality for some users (myself included).

You can send (and that works), but you'll never receive.

Jester's looking into it.

On a much brighter note, ftp is up!

and my custom logo for mail is back :)

I was wondering why I wasn't getting any spam. Not that I mind that part of course.

You should be fixed now. Jester found the issue (because he friggen' r0x0rZ my j0x0rZ!). I ran through every email account for every domain on the server... about half of them were messed up. They all should work now (damn... I have a lot of users!)

As for spam... well... you're gonna get that for a few days until we get the whole spam assasin reinstalled, configured, and integrated into the email system.

Sorry 'bout that.

So it is... I'll fix it.

Damn it... mine's broken too! *sigh*

There's a better way to do this anyway (as I've done to every other wp install besides myself and mox... so it's time to fix that)

Thanks!
