Its irony, just overly cruel irony. Yeah, I'm not a fan. The tone of their text-based stuff still makes me laugh, but the video stuff has never been funny. Not once.

Text-Based Onion is frequently hillarious. I disliked the first anchor ONN had, and I've never really liked them since.
