6 months ahoy!

Post by bio » Tue Apr 29, 2008 11:30 am

Today is the 6 month anniversary of my hitting disability. I should be receiving a call soon, as it's company policy to terminate employment when and employee hits that target.

*sigh*

On the up side, I got a new phone yesterday. The LG VX9900 (aka the enV... in orange). I ordered a couple of 4GB microSD cards for it today (making sure, of course, that they're supported). It's kinda sexy... but I'm a little miffed that I cant use my sounds as ringtones (the RAZR 3Vc would let me do it).

Well that totally sucks. I was pulling for you to be able to get back to work. You are definitely missed around here. I'll stop by with the fam one of these days for a visit. Just let me know a good time for it.

OH! Just remembered.

You can use your sounds as ringtones...It's just a pain in the arse.

Send a sound to somebody, have them send it back, and then "Save as Ringtone."

Well I just stumbled across this today. Seems the enV2 is out tomorrow. You may want to use your 2 week grace period to change out your enV for the enV2. It's only available in black or maroon, but the specs seem to be a little better including a GPS so you can track yourself from the bedroom, to the living room, to the kitchen. I'd hate to see you get lost :)

Damn, I was hoping to see you back at the cube farm too.

New phones are cool. I hate mine. I've got the Moto Q or as I like to call it, the ball and chain.

Now I email from the toilet. Weeeee!

The enV I got also has GPS. While the new one is sleeker and sexier, I'm sure that I can't get two of them for free (like I did with what I got).

I don't need the latest and greatest... I just wanted a phone that had a better battery life than my RAZR (14 hours tops!) and a QWERTY keyboard (as I'm using txt messaging more than I do calling as of late).

Oh... and I purchased the phone from Rico Ochoa, offensive lineman for the Spokane Shock (he works at the Valley Mall Verizon store when he's not playing football). He's one damn cool guy! :-)
