I saw them attempt to replicate that on Mythbusters.

According to those wacky kids, the video is totally fake (they used some sort of cable to "launch" him).

I agree, the whole time I was watching that I was thinking "WHY?" or "WTF is the point?"

But then you can scroll back and say that about any of these crazy japanese flicks.

They should leave her in a toy store with a price tag on her, now that would be funneh. At least it would leave me with some answer to the "WHY?"
