HTML Opacity

Post by canofcoke » Wed Nov 30, 2005 7:40 pm

I have finally jumped on the bandwagon of my peers and decided to create a myspace. Knowing next to nothing about HTML, I took a premade template and have started to edit it to my tastes. Alas, I have everything I want except one thing.

I have all my text and pictures inside a table or box or whatever it's called. I changed the opacity in the boxes so that you could see the background of the page. My only problem is that I can't figure out how to keep the font and pictures from becoming faded also. Usually I take the time to find out these things on my own because I learn so much in the process, but I have spent hours trying to correct this small detail. If anyone could offer me any insight, I would appreciate it. There is a link below...

Also, more recently I discovered how to make specific text immune to the opacity changes. The "Hello There" is an example. What I want to be able to do is make all text and images like that. Thanks for any help.
