M$ from years past...

Get out the fork, prepare the soldering iron. Once you've seen the horror you'll understand the concept of "can't unsee".

Watch, then use the fork to gouge out the eyes, and the soldering iron to burn out the memory.

That was uniquely horrible (while not exactly unique... bad rap crap is... um... bad).

That was just a 5 1/4"... I have an 8" in my cube (and a bunch of paper tape and punch cards at home if you really want to see old school).

What did you do with the paper tape and punch cards?

This is all way before my time. You guys are old.

BTW Bio, I love the wendy's training video. I'm gonna have that rap running through my mind all day now. Bastard! *shakes fist

We used to feed them to big monsters with oil cooled core memory arrays and prayed :)

Yes, we prayed that we didn't trip with our stacks of cards on the way to the reader! :-)

Heh, oh the bad old days :)

Now that I think of it, there was probably some poor bastard named Chad who was the first victim of a failed punch. He probably didn't think much of it until the whole Floriduh debackle. Wonder how he weathered that storm.
