I think I'd side with Miftah on this one. I think he's spot on. You have to be careful not to show too much interest too soon, but temper it with enough to keep him hooked. I like the techniques that he laid out.

You know, I can't be -sure-, but I think after I installed ZoneAlarm on the PC I had at the lazy-I, IT couldn't actually -do- anything to it anymore. It was so sweet. I updated the OS on a regular basis, kept all the virus scanners and spyware scanner running regularly, and never had a problem.

Probably needs the drivers re-installed. Plug in the camera, and see if it shows up in the Device Manager. Then uninstall it from there, unplug it, and plug it back in again to let it find the drivers again. It might work, it might not. I've had this happen on many occassions. I just take the silly ...
